Flying High With Jetbird

Leading aviation documentation specialist Vistair has secured a contract with Jetbird, Europe’s premier private jet airline start-up
Jetbird has chosen Vistair as a full-service partner for electronic document management and safety systems, including its innovative SafetyNet and Touch products.
Vistair came highly recommended by other airlines. Jetbird was attracted to its integrated range of systems and also its ability to tailor products for the precise needs of airlines.
Jetbird launched in 2006 with a commitment to revolutionise the executive travel market in a manner similar to the low-cost airline transformation of commercial aviation. It starts operations in September 2009 with its first four Embraer Phenom 100 executive jets based in Germany. It eventually plans to operate a fleet of 100 aircraft across Europe.
Jetbird is using SafetyNet and Touch throughout the business to maximise efficiency of the management team and pilots.
Vistair managing director Ian Herbert said: “We are delighted to be working with Jetbird. It’s a significant contract win for us and the full service product package is ideal for this exciting new airline.
“We have been working closely with Jetbird’s team to customise the products to fit in with their requirements ahead of their launch.
