Airline Safety Management Systems
SafetyNet is the leading safety management application in the airline industry. By design SafetyNet revolutionises safety management delivering improvement in the overall level of safety management with the airline.
SafetyNet is a web-based software application that provides the required functionality and workflow management to deliver and enhance the performance and functionality of the safety management process within an airline. When deployed, SafetyNet delivers stunning improvements in the management of safety report information by reducing safety management overheads and establishing a step change in confidentiality and reporter feedback. This improves the safety culture and enables massive improvements in management reporting through the delivery of a streamlined and highly efficient workflow.
SafetyNet will help you meet the ICAO 2009 Safety Management System regulations which state that: from 1 January 2009, States shall require as part of their safety programme, that an operator implements a safety management system acceptable to the State of the Operator that, as a minimum:
-
identifies safety hazards;
-
ensures that remedial action necessary to maintain an acceptable level of safety is implemented;
-
provides for continuous monitoring and regular assessment of the safety level achieved; and
-
aims to make continuous improvement to the overall level of safety
SafetyNet manages the full report life cycle. It starts with collecting the report, to processing and directing it through a distributed list of contributors to summarising and signing-off the report. There is no paper form or cumbersome fax for the pilot to negotiate when submitting an ASR.

The system is simple and intuitive to use and has been designed to fit perfectly to the shape of the modern Safety Management System – SafetyNet is low cost, low maintenance and high value.
SafetyNet Delivers:

SafetyNet becomes in embedded within your organization. SafetyNet brings all the information together and provides a reporting structure. The simple intuitive interface is easy to use and requires minimal instruction on use.

Reports are efficiently compiled on-line by pilots or crew members from a hotel or crew room computer or using a PDA. Once submitted they are then forwarded automatically to the flight safety office for review and dissemination.
