Audio Visual Airfield Briefings
Vistair's audio visual airfield briefing system is an invaluable pilot-orientated briefing tool. The system presents the pilot with a simple sequence of visual images accompanied by a voice-over scripted by airline professionals. Each briefing aims to build situational awareness of the terrain, minimum safe altitudes, special features and conditions applying to the specific airfield.
The system has been in use since 1994 and has been further refined to be delivered as a web based resource. The presentation is designed to be simple to use and employs full screen images and an intuitive menu bar - users can skip forward or backwards, pause or repeat briefing content.
